About Leipzig
The city of Leipzig is located in the state of Saxony in eastern Germany. The White Elster, Pleisse and Parthe rivers all flow past the city. Leipzig is the tenth largest city in Germany and the largest city in Saxony. The city is known for its thriving artist community, historic buildings, and rich cultural heritage.
